How to play ZiggleZoo
Start with one card and a little imagination. ZiggleZoo is for ages 3+, with options for solo, partner, family, classroom, and therapy play.
Try your first animal action
- Choose a card. For example, the dog card says to shake like a dog.
- Copy the movement. Model the action together. Add an animal sound or make it big, small, fast, or slow.
- Keep playing. Take turns picking animals, or choose two or three cards and try the actions in order.
An adult can read the prompts and model the actions for children who are not yet reading. Choose movements and variations that work for the child and the space you have.
Find the play that fits your day
- Flip & move: draw cards, act like animals, or try Flip Out and Furry Freeze Dance.
- Match & discover: use the 10 background colors and animal pairs for matching, Go Fish, and Memory.
- Explore & imagine: try a scavenger hunt, an obstacle course, or pretend animal adventures.
- Learn together: use turn-taking, clues, sounds, and movement sequences to add a new challenge.
The included booklet has the full instructions for 16+ games, variations, and developmental play ideas. Start simply and add challenges as children grow.
